Palatine Sister Cities will have a booth at the Market again this year.

May 10 - 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS at Palatine Village Hall
200 East Wood Street, Palatine, IL
Monday, May 10
6:30 - 6:50 p.m. - lilac planting
7:00 - 7:30 p.m. - village meeting

You are invited to our planting at the Palatine Village Hall on Monday, May 10th, at 6:30 pm We will be planting 4 French lilacs and some hosta plants at the village hall. The planting will be brief, 6:30 til 6:50 p.m. The location is the west end of village hall, at the stop sign on Oak Street. There is a small courtyard and we’ll be adding to the existing landscaping.

Then at 7p.m., we’ll attend the village meeting to accept a proclamation for our anniversary. We should be the first agenda item, so this entire celebration will be an hour. (Note: sit in the back rows, so we can leave after the presentation). Hope you can come!

May 14 - 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS at Palatine Historical Society’s Clayson House

Please join us at a special French Night to commemorate our 15th anniversary. Enjoy music and song after we plant 2 French lilacs on the Clayson grounds. We’ll take a group photo at 7:30. This is our French Night for the month, so RSVP to frenchnight@palatinesistercities.org.

Please bring wine or dessert/appetizer to share. Parking is available in the lot on Oak Street, just one house north of Palatine Road. There is a path that leads from the parking lot to the Clayson House, which is east of the parking lot. You can see Clayson House from the lot.
